Camping is an important part of the Girl Scout program. It offers girls the opportunity to learn about nature, their environment, and fosters girls abilities to survive in an outdoor setting. Camp Green Hill is located near Mathis, Texas on beautiful Lake Corpus Christi and covers almost 50 acres of mostly wooded terrain.  This property is used throughout the year for day and weekend outdoor programs, summer resident camp, and service unit/troop outdoor events. Program possibilities are endless at Camp Green Hill.  Some of the activities girls enjoy at this property include hiking, outdoor skills, arts and crafts, nature crafts, nature identification, cookouts, conservation, sports, games, community service, and primitive camping. Our waterfront area offers excellent small water craft opportunities which are available with appropriate certified volunteers.
