Girl Scouting in South Texas encourages girls by teaching them to believe in themselves, recognize their strengths, and to imagine a future of exciting options. You can take part in the life-affirming work of Girl Scouting by supporting the Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas Council.

ANNUAL GIVING
Support from the South Texas communities ensures that Girl Scouting will be available to every girl. These gifts help the Council to continue this timeless organization that develops girls into leaders of tomorrow. Funds support programs for girls. OUTREACH PROGRAM
The Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas Council began its Outreach Program in 2000 by reaching to girls who could not afford to be in Girl Scouts but deserved the opportunity. With transportation issues, the Girl Scout program is brought to them in their own familiar surroundings. Girls are served through low-income public schools, housing authorities, the Texas Migrant Council and through Boys and Girls Clubs.
By supporting the Outreach Program, you are providing membership, handbooks, uniform components and badges for low income girls.

WINGS
"Women Investing in Girl Scouting" was formed in 2003 and was designed to create the largest fund ever established in Texas to directly benefit girls of South Texas. The WINGS program is philanthropy by women, for women. It is an opportunity for women of influence to make a genuine difference in the lives of thousands of Girl Scouts across South Texas. By being a WINGS member, you are part of a 135 select philanthropic women and will receive an exclusively designed WINGS pin, permanent recognition at Camp Bayview, and an invitation to an Annual Wings Event. CAMP BAVIEW PAVERS
A lasting way to honor Girl Scouting and to become a part of history at Camp Bayvew is to purchase a paver. By purchasing a paver, you are making a donation to a worthy cause and your engraved paver will be placed at the campsite for generations of Girl Scouts to view. LAREDO PAVERS
Please join the Community Partner Committee in Laredo to build a “Pathway to our Future” by purchasing a Brick Paver that will be placed at the entrance of the new Lamar Bruni Vergara Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas Webb County Youth Center. The girls, who will walk the pathway today, are our leaders of tomorrow.
Your Paver will become part of history as we open the doors to the new center on the same property where the Girl Scouts have called home for over 60 years.

Celebrating Community Leaders of Courage, Confidence, and Character Who Make the World a Better Place

Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas celebrates community leaders who have distinguished themselves as outstanding members of their community through individual excellence and high levels of achievement. Past recipients have included community leaders honored for excellence in the areas of business, education, government, communications, health care, sports, volunteer services, multicultural activities, and Girl Scouting. We are looking for community leaders who are role models for all of our members, girls and adults alike, showing them that with hard work and perseverance, anything can be accomplished.
