Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas has partnered with corporations, businesses and organizations who lend their names and financial support by sponsoring special events and/or programs which helps develop our leaders of and continue our mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
Established in 2004, is a program designed by women for women to create the largest fund established to directly benefit girls in the 26 counties jurisdiction of Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas. The WINGS program offers a convenient way to make a contribution and give a voice to girls’ dreams and realize their ambitions through activities that will enable them to develop skills required to move forward with confidence in a ever changing world.
Change A Girl's Life-
$35 provides a girl one full year of membership to Girls Scouts and a “Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting”
$52 provides a girl a starter with supplies for one full year of membership to Girl Scouts
$300 supports a camp scholarship for a girl to experience an outdoor adventure she’ll never forget
$416 supports a troop of 8 girls in low income areas
$988 provides a girl a travel opportunity of her choice through the Girl Scout Destination to experience and learn about other cultures
$1,500 sponsors an Outreach Program to serve 100 girls at a low-income local school for one year

As a integral part of the community, Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas is pround to partner with other youth-serving agencies, schools, businesses and individuals to provide opportunities to girls.
