Journey’s (3)

The It's Your Story—Tell It! leadership journey series uses a storytelling theme in a fun and grade-level relevant way for girls to better understand themselves and their potential. Building a strong sense of self is an underlying goal of the series, which was made possible in part by a generous grant from the Dove Self-Esteem Fund.  Girls develop media literacy, creative expression, and leadership skills through fun and engaging multidisciplinary content and activities.  All along the journey, girls have opportunities to engage in a variety of arts, including performing, visual, culinary, and new media, to tell their stories and take action to make the world a better place.

daisy three cheers

5 Flowers, 4 Stories, 3 Cheers for Animals! (Girl Scout Daisy)

Girl Scout Daisies learn just how much they can care for animals and for themselves—and just how good that makes them feel.  Animals and flowers share their stories and encourage girls to find and tell their own stories.

brownie world of girls

A World of Girls (Girl Scout Brownie)

Stories are all around us - in movies, in books, on television, on the news, in advertisements, and even on cereal boxes.  Stories inspire and motivate.  On this journey, stories teach Girl Scout Brownies clues about how they can create positive change in the world—change that affects girls.

 junior amuse

aMUSE (Girl Scout Junior)

Girl Scout Juniors learn just how many roles are open to them in the world and the possibilities those roles open for them. aMuse helps girls take center stage and try out more roles than they ever thought possible.  As they find out there is more to their story, girls may feel stronger, walk taller, and gain confidence!

 cadette media

MEdia (Girl Scout Cadette)

Girl Scout Cadettes look for the ME in media and learn how they can shape media—for themselves, their community and the world.  MEdia helps girls think about who is responsible for telling all the stories they see around them and how they can use their story to help "re-make" the forms of media they see around them.

 senior mission sisterhood

MISSION: SISTERHOOD! (Girl Scout Senior)

Girl Scout Seniors learn how widening their network broadens their world, and benefits the world as well.  Girls learn to understand the power of sisterhood in their own lives and in the world.  What girls start can spiral outward and change the world.

ambassador bliss

BLISS: Live It! Give It! (Girl Scout Ambassador)

Girl Scout Ambassadors learn to dream big, now and for their future, and begin their legacy as leaders who help others achieve their dreams too.  As they prepare to move from high school into the next phase of their lives, Bliss helps girls navigate life's twists and turns in order to realize their dreams.

It's Your Planet -- Love It! journeys invite Girl Scouts of every age on an adventure to explore the wonders of Earth as they enjoy the natural world.   These journeys have been intentionally designed to engage girls in investigating science, seeking answers to questions about issues that have global effects, learning about female professionals from around the globe who are saving the planet, and creating and implementing plans to take action.  Upon completion of the journeys, girls will be prepared to carry out substantial award projects.

daisy earth and sky

Between Earth and Sky (Girl Scout Daisy)

In this journey for kindergarteners and first graders, Girl Scout Daisies join their flower friends for an exciting road trip in a flower-powered car. As they travel the country living the values of the Girl Scout Law, the girls and their flower friends enjoy what's local and learn why that's important. They experience what's great about what grows near them, and they learn how their own special skills make the world a better place.

 brownie wonders of water

WOW! Wonders of Water (Girl Scout Brownie)

This journey for second and third graders follows friends Alejandra, Campbell, Jamila, and Brownie Elf as they enjoy some amazing wonders of water. Girls will learn about the endless water cycle and enjoy making their own rainbows as they explore our precious resource of water. They'll meet inspiring women working for water, learn Girl Scout history, and, as a team, come to understand that WOW also stands for Ways of Working. Girl Scout Brownies reach out to their community as they advocate for other people to get involved in protecting water, too!

 junior get moving

Get Moving! (Girl Scout Junior)

In this journey, fourth and fifth graders become leaders who energize, investigate, and innovate as they explore their own energy, the energy of their places and spaces, and the energy of getting from here to there. Along the way, Dez, the fashionista spider, learns right along with Girl Scout Juniors. The girls will also meet energizing artists, cooks, engineers, and architects as they Get Moving to get others moving, too.

 cadette breathe

Breathe (Girl Scout Cadette)

Air is everywhere in this journey for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. As the girls explore the air all around them, they'll learn a lot of air-clearing strategies, including how to turn down the volume! That means they'll be improving their personal air space -- and finding the breathing room so necessary to be leaders who make the most of their special flair! Girl Scout Cadettes will also meet scientists, engineers, writers, and artists -- all of them working for Earth's air! To earn their Aware, Alert, and Affirm awards, the girls will build an Air Care Team aimed at airy improvements for Earth and all its inhabitants.

 senior sow what

Sow What? (Girl Scout Senior)

On this journey, ninth and tenth graders get down to the roots of their food network to see how complex and how global food and land issues can be. They'll meet scientists, farmers, artists, and others who have plenty of knowledge to serve up. And they'll have a chance to explore what makes a meal truly happy. This journey will also have girls asking tough questions about their own "food print" as they develop "leader print" and speak up about what they believe in.

ambassador justice

Justice (Girl Scout Ambassador)

This journey for eleventh and twelfth graders tackles the engaging global issue of environmental justice by giving girls the opportunity to create their own equation for justice. Along the way they will see how "Doing the Math" with even the simplest acts can lead to powerful and positive changes in the world. From scientists and doctors to lawyers and environmentalists, this journey is rich with eye-opening career possibilities -- all focused on caring and collaborative work that helps both people and the planet.

It's Your World -- Change It! helps girls understand what it means to be a leader who makes a difference in the world. These journeys have been intentionally designed to engage girls in a critical-thinking process related to identifying and researching issues they care about, developing community networks, and creating and implementing plans to take action. Upon completion of the journeys, girls will be prepared to carry out substantial award projects.

daisy flower garden

Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden

In this journey for Kindergarteners and first graders, a favorite pastime -- gardening -- meets the Girl Scout Law. The result is a storybook world of flowers and little girls who, together, do great things. Girl Scout Daisies will especially enjoy meeting the colorful, global characters who teach them to live the Girl Scout Law.

 brownie quest

Brownie Quest

This quest has second and third graders traveling along two colorful trails, one they can enjoy on their own and one they explore with their Girl Scout group. Along the quest, Girl Scout Brownies will meet three new friends and a bright and shining elf -- in a brand new Brownie story meant to inspire their own take action projects.

 junior agent of change

Agent of Change (Girl Scout Junior)

Power! In this journey for fourth and fifth graders, there's a whole spiral of it waiting for Girl Scout Juniors. This powerful journey is filled with ceremonies and circles, real-life heroines and special new characters, including the fashion-savvy spider named Dez. Along the way, girls learn how their own power combines into team power and then moves out to become community power.
