Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards

 

The Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards represent the highest achievements in Girl Scouting and a commitment that girls make to themselves, their communities, and to the world.  Silver and Gold Award workshops are highly recommended for girls, parents, troop leaders, and other adults and volunteers who are interested in learning how to “Go for the Silver” or “Go for the Gold.”  If you are not able to attend a scheduled workshop, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. "Go Gold Online" is the online application for Girl Scouts to prepare their Girl Scout Gold Award Project Proposal, submit their proposal for review and approval, track their progress, and create their Final Report.  Complete each step online!

 

"Go Gold Online" is required for girls to apply for nomination as a National Young Woman of Distinction.

GSGST's In Motion Program Guide is updated periodically and new editions are published three times a year (July, October, and February). Hard copies of the publication can be printed and can be requested in hard copy at any of the Girl Scout Service Centers.

Council programs provide an opportunity for girls to experience Girl Scouting through any of the flexible pathways. By developing collaborations with local community resources, the council can provide programs that often are not available at the troop or service unit level. Girls come together from all areas of the council to enjoy the fun, friendship, and power of girls together.

Volunteers Make a Difference Day

Our Vision:
Through the development and implementation of the Volunteer Recognition System, Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas Council will recognize their contributions, support their efforts, and challenge its volunteers not only to continue but also to help cultivate new volunteers.

Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas has developed the following Volunteer Recognition System to ensure that all our volunteers are given the proper appreciation and recognition. In the Adult Recognitions Handbook you will find the necessary information that will help you decide which recognitions are available in order to nominate the volunteers in your community. You will find recognition descriptions, nomination forms and applications.
