Presidential Volunteer Service Awards
The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is issued by the President’s Council on Service and Civic participation on behalf of the President of the United States. It is given to recognize and to encourage all Americans to improve their communities through volunteer service and participation. These hours must be completed within a 12-month time period (October 1 – September 30). For Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas, the 12-month period for your service is from October 1 -September 30.
Note: The cost of the pins will be the responsibility of the troop and not GSGST.
