The Annual Meeting takes place every spring and is where we all work together with the vision to continue providing exceptional programs and experiences for girls.

2025-2026 Annual Meeting Thursday April 9th, 2026.

Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas invites all council members aged 14 and older to RSVP and participate. This is a great opportunity to stay informed on council updates, participate in important votes, and engage in networking. It’s also an excellent way to involve older girls in the business of our Movement!

What happens at Annual Meeting?

Election of officers, directors at large, members of the Board Development Committee. In addition, every three years, delegates and alternates are nominated and named to represent GSGST at the National Convention.
Consideration is discussed of any proposed amendments to the bylaws.
Members in attedence provide input on key issues affecting the Council and the Movement.
Considerations for any other business appropriate to come before the corporation in accordance with the process established by the board of directors.

The 2025-2026 Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas Annual Meeting will be held virtually via Zoom on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

Meeting Start Time: 6:30 P.M. (All delegates must be logged in by 6:00 P.M. for attendance purposes.)

Zoom details will be sent via email the day before the event.

Apply To Become A Council Delegate

A Council Delegate is a corporate member of Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas and provides valuable guidance to the Board of Directors in its governance of the council. Council Delegates are accountable to the Board of Directors through the Regional Chair and to the Service Units.
