The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is issued by the President’s Council on Service and Civic participation on behalf of the President of the United States. It is given to recognize and to encourage all Americans to improve their communities through volunteer service and participation. These hours must be completed within a 12-month time period (October 1 – September 30). For Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas, the 12-month period for your service is from October 1 -September 30.
Note: The cost of the pins will be the responsibility of the troop and not GSGST.
PVSA form goes LIVE on October 1st for Volunteer hours submissions for the MY24 Girl Scout Year. (10/01/2023-09/30/2024).
Due Date: The report due date is November 15th to ensure prompt delivery of awards and pins. Your application must be received prior to that date, or your order may be delayed, and you may incur additional freight charges.
