Event Description:
🏕️🌲 This training is designed to equip adult volunteers with the skills needed to lead and facilitate safe and enjoyable outdoor programming. You’ll learn essential principles like Leave No Trace, how to foster independence among your scouts, and how to make the most of outdoor adventures. Our goal is to build your confidence and courage in taking your group camping. This beginner-level course covers fundamental aspects and safety protocols for camping with scouts of various ages.
This is a training that is required before taking your troop camping out, cooking out or sleeping out.
Training is provided by GSGST council.
