 Dessert First - The sweetest event in South Texas, the Dessert First Gala, is hosted every year to benefit Girl Scouts and adult volunteers throughout the Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas. Talented and ambitious chefs and food connoisseurs throughout the region battle to take home title of Best Dessert! Desserts are judged on presentation, creativity, and taste. A formal seated dinner follows, including chef awards and a live and silent auction.

The proceeds from the event support the Girl Scout leadership program, ensuring that all girls in our local communities have the support, experiences, and opportunities they need to realize their potential. 

Your generosity allows us to provide girl-led programs to girls, adult volunteers, and their communities, offering all girls, ages 5 - 17, the opportunity to lead like a Girl Scout.
